Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator will work directly with our Board of Directors and Committees to oversee all volunteer activities within our organization. This volunteer position includes responding to interested candidates, interviewing and hiring volunteers, coordinating the needs of our committees, and maintaining accurate volunteer records.

Administrative Assistant

Will work directly with the CEO on a variety of tasks for the organization. This volunteer position includes calendar management, community outreach, executive representation, word processing, reporting and more.

Event Planners & Volunteers

Broadway West is seeking several volunteers to join our Events Committee to help plan or operate events such as networking, fundraising, our Marquee Society, and our end of the year gala. Whether you have experience planning events or simply want to volunteer at future events for on the day help with front of house operations, setup and teardown, food or drink service, merchandise sales, or brand advocacy.

Social Media Manager

Broadway West is seeking a Social Media Manager to join our Marketing Committee. This volunteer position includes working directly with the Artistic Director in developing and executing a robust organic and paid social media program for the nonprofit. This includes editorial calendar production, content strategy, video production and platform development and post execution.

Content Producer

This volunteer position includes copywriting, pre-production, production, video strategy, editing, scripting and graphic design. Part of Marketing Committee.

Community Partner Event Coordinator

Will help promote activity in the Broadway West Theater District. This volunteer position is responsible for managing our event and promotion calendar on our website, working directly with our Events and Marketing Committees and assisting the Social Media Manager to post events online.

Public Relations Coordinator

This volunteer position is responsible for community partnerships, media outreach, and assisting with our communications strategy. Join our Marketing Committee and work directly with our Board of Directors.

Brand Ambassadors (Street Teams)

Brand Ambassadors will be our on-the-ground task force promoting specific campaigns, initiatives, or events for the organization. Volunteers must be socially minded and can be interested in a variety of causes such as but not limited to promoting our theater and arts scene, DTLA growth and transformation, or historic preservation of our world-famous theater district. Volunteers are responsible for community engagement and brand advocacy.

Development Manager

This volunteer position is responsible for the fundraising efforts of the organization, building relationships with people, public and private organizations, corporations, and local partners to secure philanthropic support and help fund our strategic plan goals. Part of our Development Committee.

Fundraising Coordinator

Seeking a Fundraising Coordinator to join our Development Committee. This volunteer position will work directly with the Development Manager and Board of Directors to look for opportunities and identify gaps in our current efforts to raise money for the organization.

Grant Writer

Seeking a Grant Writer to join our Development Committee. This volunteer position is responsible for researching and identifying targets and writing grants to help fund our strategic plan goals.

Civic Engagement Manager

Seeking a volunteer to lead civic engagement as part of our Development Committee. This volunteer position is responsible for but not limited to our public funding campaign, legislation development, strategic connections, and project management.
